Melissa graduated with a Bachelor Degree of Podiatry in 2010 from the University of South Australia. Throughout her years in the profession, she has dedicated time to learning many treatment techniques beyond the traditional scope of Podiatry. Advanced treatments include joint mobilisation and manipulation, dry needling and advanced exercise rehabilitation.
A personal passion for Melissa is challenging cases where clients have feel as though they have tried all avenues for their concerns, and have found little change. Melissa enjoys working with non-resolving tricky cases and chronic pain. Melissa enjoys working with clients of all ages from young children to aged care and everywhere in between!
Melissa embraces an active role in the Podiatry Profession. From 2013 to 2015 Melissa was an active board member on the South Australian Podiatry Association. She has also developed an online platform for Podiatrists named “Rethinking Podiatry’ which is an online community growing at a fast rate!
In her free time, you’ll often find Melissa working up a sweat at F45 or going for a run. She enjoys impulsive baking occasions, and spending time with her family and friends.
