As a keen runner and hiker, Alina is always seeking new adventures and challenges. She’s an enthusiastic physiotherapist, passionate about helping people stay active and make the most of life.
Alina graduated from the University of South Australia in 2011 and has spent the last 10 years working as a sports physiotherapist in clinics across Australia and overseas. Most recently, Alina lived in New York City for 3 years and worked as a running specialist physio and strength coach. While there, she had amazing opportunities to work with the Adidas Runners and Midnight Runners running clubs presenting injury-prevention workshops and training seminars. While in NYC, Alina also got to run the NYC Half Marathon, Brooklyn Half and several Central Park races. In early 2020, Alina moved back home to Adelaide and is excited about this next chapter.
Alina is a big believer in the benefits of frequent movement and exercise. As a physiotherapist, she aims to not only help people recover from their injury but also come out the other end stronger, fitter, and more resilient.Alina has additional training in Pilates and Strength & Conditioning and utilises these skills in her treatment approach.
Together with exercise, she uses manual therapy techniques and trigger point dry needling to relieve pain and help her patients achieve their goals.
