Our first physiotherapy clinic opened as one room out of a crossfit gym in the Adelaide CBD in December 2014, becoming so popular that we soon expanded further to accommodate the increased demand for a combined manual therapy/functional gym based service that was focused around patient outcomes and accelerated recovery. We now have two large multidisciplinary clinics located in the North Eastern and Western suburbs of Adelaide. Each clinic features 8 consulting rooms, an on-site rehab gym, a sports and biomechanics performance lab and a client-focused welcome room.

PHYSIO FIT ADELAIDE IN THE NEWS
“Your team and the culture of your team are your single biggest asset and will largely dictate the speed of your growth. As an extension of this, your most important roles as a leader in your team are hiring and supporting your team. Especially in a relatively small team like mine of 25, each new team member can have a large effect on team culture, whether it be positively or negatively.”
Peter Flynn, Director
“The biggest lesson we learnt was the importance of creating time to work with your team and build a culture of success and happiness. Culture is not something that accidentally happens – you have to plan how you want it to be, hire the right people, and give them adequate support and training, before allowing them autonomy to do the best work of their lives.“
Peter Flynn, Director
“The reason most patients couldn’t imagine doing physiotherapy consultations online is that there would be no opportunity to perform manual therapy, such as massage and mobilisations, which is what many people believe achieves their rehab goals.”
In fact, research very strongly supports that the most critical part of rehabilitation is progressive exercise-based therapy, much of which can be delivered online.”
Peter Flynn, Director
The Frontline Healthcare initiative aims to ensure nurses and doctors working during the crisis are taking care of their own wellbeing.
Co-founder and physiotherapist Peter Flynn said the platform would launch with 25 allied health businesses, including physiotherapists and osteopaths, who had volunteered to provide online consultations for up to the next six months.
